Business Process Management is a specific method of looking at and handling the processes within an organisation. It involves making tough but necessary choices at key points in a business’s life cycle, in order to ensure that the organisation remains cost efficient and effective.

In an increasingly technology and automation reliant world, Business Process Management helps implement automated processes as well as using them to create better organisations and more rewarding customer service experiences. When BPM is done well, it results in a significant and observable reduction of errors and waste while allowing for the generation of much higher quality products and services.

That said, Business process Management is not a one-time solution. Implementing it well involves revisiting the methods and continuously re-evaluating and changing processes as applicable.
